Born in 2000, Ravin graduated from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) with a degree in Arts in Photography.

Born in Central China's Anhui province, Ravin grew up in Beijing and moved to Sydney and Melbourne before deciding to live in Shanghai. Because of his growing experience spanning different communities and classes, he has gained a lot of insight into society. Ravin’s passion was to combine documentary photography, staged photography, and fashion to depict the society and people he saw. By framing the scene, light and people in the same image, to create emotion and narrative.

瑞文出生于中国中部的安徽省，在北京长大，后来移居悉尼和墨尔本，现定居上海。由于成长经历跨越不同集体和阶级，给予他很多观察社会的洞察力。他热衷于结合纪实摄影，场景摄影和时尚，去描绘社会和他看到的人和物。通过把场景、光线和人物塑造成同一个形象，来创造情感和叙事。
